Job Posting: Associate Corporate Counsel

COMPANY INTRODUCTION:

3Degrees is a leading environmental commodity, renewable energy certificate (REC) and carbon offset (sometimes called Voluntary Emission Reductions, or VERs) trading and origination, marketing, and services firm, and is based in San Francisco’s Presidio. 3Degrees is also a leader in utility customer choice programs. 3Degrees also assists project sponsors in the financing, verification, registration, and commercialization of RECs and VERs.

3Degrees was named the #1 U.S. REC Dealer in Energy Risk’s 2008 Commodity Rankings and the 2008 Department of Energy’s Large Commercial Green Power Supplier of the Year.

3Degrees has played a leading role in developing markets for environmental commodities, and is in the process of maturing from a successful start-up to a business with appreciable day-today legal needs.

The precise nature of the position will be tailored to fit the optimal candidate.
