Job Posting: Legal Products and Services Salesperson

Restructuring Concepts LLC, a San Francisco Bay area start-up, seeks an experienced legal products and services salesperson.  The company’s first product (and the product that the salesperson would be focused upon) is the netDockets Precedent Research System for corporate bankruptcy and restructuring professionals.  Launched in September 2008, the product has received rave reviews from its current base of users and the company is looking for an experienced salesperson to expand its user base, particularly at mid-size and large law firms with leading bankruptcy practices.  The company was founded by an experienced corporate restructuring professional (at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP) and the company’s products reflect a deep understanding of the market and its needs.

This is a great time for this product, as the corporate bankruptcy area is the busiest practice area for firms and our system offers an efficient and high-quality solution to a key research need.  This is also a great product to be selling in this market, as law firms can bill the expense of the product through to their clients.  The company offers firms the option to purchase access to the system on a transactional or subscription basis.

The ideal candidate will have experience selling legal research services and/or corporate bankruptcy products and services to mid-size and large law firms.  An established book of contacts would be an especially valuable resource.  We’re looking for an experienced and established self-starter who looks forward to the challenge of managing the sales efforts of a new and innovative product and wants to participate and share in our success.

Initially, we are offering a very generous commission-based compensation structure (realistic six-figure potential for a successful salesperson).  For the right candidate, this could grow into a permanent place on our team as we grow our product offering.  Location is flexible, but New York, Chicago, Los Angeles or San Francisco would be ideal.

If interested, please send your resume to rreese@netdockets.com
